This week for Te Reo Maori we learned left, right, up and down in maori. We explained where the shapes by saying it in Maori.
First Whara Odie challenged us by speaking Maori. She teaches us colours, and shapes in Maori.
Next we needed to do a task called kei hea which is were is it.
Lastly we went through the answers with Whaea Odie to see if we got in right.
I enjoyed doing this maori task because it was easy. I did well on the answers. I need to improve on speaking more Maori.
This week I learned about rail transportation.
First I needed to find 3 people to make a group of 4. The people in my group were Ane, Siniva, Jaylee, And Lisea. We needed to go to a table and wait for Miss White to give us a paper to write down what we think a stakeholder is. A stakeholder is when someone gets money for technology. Then we needed technology to get more money.
Next we needed to write on the piece of paper what we think and stakeholder is. Then we needed to turn the paper and write 10 facts about rail transportation.
Lastly we made a google slide or a google draw and put your facts in there.
I enjoyed this because I really enjoy learning about rails. I did well on the decorating. I need to improve on finding more information instead of decorating.
This week I learned about discus and shot put.
First MrJoe showed us how to stand sideways and throw the discus to where you’re aiming at. I needed three fingers to throw the discus.
Next we needed to get into lines and go behind cones to throw the discus.
Lastly we did a shot put. For the shot put we needed to do the actions we did last week for shot put. We needed to turn sideways then put one arm in front and the other at the back. Then we need to push our body to throw the ball.
I enjoyed this task because we learned how to throw a discus. I did well on the shot put part. I need to improve on trying to throw the discus.
This week I did synthesis about cars. People that was in group 1 or 2 needed to write 3 facts about cars and the other people that’s in group 3 or 4 needed to write 5 or more facts about cars.
First we needed to make a copy of the synthesising slide and write what information we know and information from websites.
Then we needed to combine the information together to make a sentence.
Lastly we need to make a google draw and write the facts about cars on a google slide.
I enjoyed this because I got to learn some information about cars. I did well on the information. I need to improve on writing the information and decorating it.
This week I learnt what motivational quotes are. Motivational quotes are to make you or people confident at doing something.
First I needed to make a google drawing and write some motivational quotes.
Next I needed to think of some quotes to make people confident at something that they are not confident at doing. One of mine was “ Never give up on what you want to achieve”.
I really enjoyed this task because I got to learn how to motivate myself and people. I did well on writing the motivational quotes. I need to improve on writing more quotes
